At MGT Landscaping, we are a team of professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality commercial landscape and irrigation services to Colorado. With over twenty years of experience, we have built strong relationships with our customers and suppliers based on integrity and uncompromising service. Our projects don't end when they're finished; we strive for perfection and a "Zero Punch List."

Our History

MGT Landscaping began as Mitch's Green Thumb Landscaping in 1977 in the State of Illinois. In 1998, we expanded to Colorado. Mitch Maneval, our founder, turned to Kerry R. Hasegawa to oversee the Colorado branch as Vice President and partner in 2002. Together, Hasegawa and Maneval have over sixty years of combined experience in landscape and irrigation, forming a strong presence in the Colorado market. In June of 2009, Mr. Hasegawa became President and majority owner, and finally, in the fall of 2012, Mr. Hasegawa purchased the remaining shares from Mr. Maneval, making Mitch's Green Thumb become MGT Landscaping Inc.

Our Team

Our team is our backbone. We have a dedicated group of professionals who are passionate about providing high-quality services to our customers.

• Kerry R. Hasegawa - President: Kerry has been in the landscape industry his entire adult life. While attending CU, he worked summers at a local Nursery. Later, Kerry went to work full time as a residential landscape designer for the nursery. Designing was fun and creative, but owning and operating his own business became the goal. Kerry worked for other landscape contractors, learning from each one before teaming up with Mitch Maneval in 1998. When not in the office, Kerry enjoys skiing, fishing, an occasional round of golf, and spending time with his family.

• Gwyn Hasegawa - CPA: After a career spent in the corporate world of oil & gas as a Controller, Gwyn joined the rest of the family and learned the world of landscape construction. Gwyn has brought a tremendous amount of professionalism and expertise to MGT. Gwyn oversees all financial aspects of the company. After hours, Gwyn enjoys skiing, hiking, and relaxing in the mountain house, as well as numerous crafting projects.

• Lisa Hasegawa - Accounts Payable: Lisa joined the family after earning her Bachelor's Degree in English at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2009. She loves spending time with her dog B.B., hiking and biking, and is an amazing skier. Lisa also spends time traveling and seeing what else the world has to offer.

• Adam Hasegawa - Estimating: Adam Hasegawa has been with MGT since May of 2007. During high school summers, Adam worked in the field and after attending the University of Colorado became the full-time estimator. In addition to estimating, Adam has taken on additional duties in Business Development. Adam is married and has a four-year-old son named Logan, and twin daughters.
