Our Story

Our founder, Dr. Stephanie Smith-Phillips, started our practice with just one exam room and one employee back in 1985. Over the years, we have grown and evolved to include four board-certified dermatologists, a nurse practitioner, a dermatopathologist, and more than 30 outstanding employees. Despite our growth, our commitment to providing the highest quality care has remained unchanged.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services at Mt. Pleasant Dermatology, including Medical, Surgical, and Cosmetic Dermatology, as well as our SkinCeuticals Advanced Clinical Spa.

Our Medical Dermatology services include skin checks, rashes, eczema, spot checks, psoriasis, rosacea, acne, sun-damaged skin, warts, and more. For those requiring surgical procedures, we offer excision with repair, excision with microscopic control, injections, mole removal, surgical earlobe repair, and skin tag removal, among others.

In our Cosmetic Dermatology department, we provide treatments such as Botox Cosmetic, Xeomin, Juvederm Collection, RHA Collection, Silhouette InstaLift, and more. These treatments are designed to help improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines, lift and contour cheeks, and address dynamic wrinkles and folds.

Our SkinCeuticals Advanced Clinical Spa offers a variety of treatments and products backed by science, focusing on the principles of prevent, protect, and correct. Our treatments include CoolPeel, Virtue RF, PicoSure, and more, designed to address fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, acne scars, and other blemishes, as well as tighten skin and balance tone.
