Our treatment plans consist of rehabilitation therapy, medication management, advanced image-guided targeted injections and ablations, and minimally invasive surgeries. We always begin with the most conservative of treatments first and will only progress onto more involved therapies if and when absolutely necessary. We work together with you, as a team, to help return your quality of life and restore and optimize your functional level.

Our treatment options include, but are not limited to, Epidural Steroid Injections, Joint (shoulder, knee, hip, etc.) injections, Sympathetic Nerve Blocks, Trigger Point Injections, Spinal and Peripheral Nerve Stimulation, Kyphoplasty, Medication management, Ultrasound and X-ray guided injections, Radiofrequency lesioning of nerves innervating arthritic and painful joints, and Physical and Occupational Therapy.

Dr. Daniel E. Halpert's Biography

Dr. Daniel E. Halpert is a double board-certified physician in Interventional Pain Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine. He was introduced to pain management and rehabilitation in his early teenage years after being a pedestrian struck by a "hit and run" car. Through a multidisciplinary program, he was able to regain his strength and function to the point of participating in high school and college athletics. Dr. Halpert is an osteopathic physician (D.O.) who received his training through the world-renowned hospitals affiliated with both The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Harvard Medical School. He has cared for patients from all over the world and has authored several publications, including articles in major peer-reviewed scientific and medical journals as well as a book chapter. Dr. Halpert's focus is on treating all types of pain conditions affecting any and all part(s) of the body, regardless of the source of pain.

Advanced Medical Sports and Spine is located at 2002 Orange Road STE 201, Culpeper, VA 22701. Our office hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
