I am Carlie, a lifelong Ventura resident and a second-generation beauty industry professional. I grew up in the industry, as both my parents owned Rapunzel Salon in the 80s. Hi, I'm Michaella! I was born and raised in Ventura, California, and spent many years living in the beautiful Hawaiian Islands. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and decided to return to school to become an aesthetician and permanent makeup artist. I am passionate about helping others feel confident and beautiful in their skin, and I am excited to be a part of the Bunny Boutique team.

Our signature service is microblading, a semi-permanent makeup technique that creates natural-looking eyebrows. Our team of experienced artists takes the time to understand each client's unique needs and preferences to create eyebrows that enhance their features and complement their style.

Microblading

Microblading is a form of eyebrow tattooing that creates the appearance of natural, full eyebrows. The process involves using a small handheld tool to make tiny incisions in the skin, which are then filled with pigment. The result is a set of eyebrows that looks and feels completely natural, even up close. Our team of experienced microblading artists takes the time to understand each client's unique needs and preferences to create eyebrows that enhance their features and complement their style.

Lash Lifting

Lash lifting is a revolutionary new treatment that gives the appearance of longer, fuller eyelashes without the need for mascara or extensions. The process involves using a specially designed tool to lift and curl the lashes, creating a natural, wide-eyed look that lasts for up to eight weeks. Our team of experienced lash artists takes the time to understand each client's unique needs and preferences to create a look that enhances their features and complements their style.

Infrared Therapy

Infrared therapy is a non-invasive, pain-free treatment that uses infrared light to stimulate the body's natural healing processes. The treatment can help to reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and promote overall wellness. It is a great way to relax and rejuvenate, and it can be added to any of our other services for an additional fee.

Pre-Appointment Restrictions

To ensure that your skin is in the best possible condition for an amazing microblading procedure, please follow these pre-appointment restrictions carefully:

• Do not work out the day of the procedure, as the body heat will expand the pores.
• Avoid heavy sunlight and especially sunburn three days before the procedure.
• Skin should not be in the process of healing before the procedure; avoid chemical peels (60 days prior), botox treatments (wait at least four weeks), tanning or sunburn (seven days prior or until all tenderness/redness is gone).
• Do not pluck, wax, tint, thread, or apply any hair removal three days before.
• Avoid using Retinols/Retin-A or other anti-aging/acne creams, and do not apply any serums containing acids on the eyebrows.
• Do not take aspirin, ibuprofen, niacin, vitamin E, fish oil (mega-3), or CoQ10 (48 hours prior).
• Do not drink alcohol or caffeine (appointment).

Post-Procedure Care

• Day 1: Keep clean and dry, do not touch your eyebrows!
• Day 1-3: Brows will start developing a thin layer of scab; continue keeping your brows dry and clean.
• Day 4: Apply a rice-gran amount of aftercare ointment on each eyebrow with a cotton swab and clean hands; spread a VERY THIN layer of the ointment across the treated area every morning and night.
