Meet Our Team

Our team is the heart of Straight Edge Barber & Salon. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, our stylists are dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and trends, ensuring that our clients always receive the best possible service.

Mindy Folta, one of our co-owners, has spent over 13 years specializing in men's and boy's haircuts. She has advanced training from the American Crew Academy in barbering, styling, and products, and holds both her Missouri and Cosmetology licenses. Mindy's expertise and passion for her craft make her a valuable asset to our team.

Melissa Sands, our other co-owner, has been cutting men's hair exclusively for over 9 years. She is a graduate of the Academy of Hair Design and holds her Missouri Cosmetology License. Melissa's specialties include fades and shear cuts, and her dedication to her craft is evident in every haircut.

Nyssa Plympton, a member of our styling team, has been designing both men's and women's hair since 2008. She specializes in modern men's cuts, razor cuts, grey coverage, and highlights, and her extensive experience and commitment to her clients make her an indispensable part of our team.
