In the years preceding COVID-19, we were privileged to host the Boundless Way Zen meditation group on Tuesday evenings, from Spring to Fall. In response to the pandemic, the Zen meditation group has shifted to a remote winter schedule, gathering via Zoom or telephone. However, they still offer in-person retreats at various locations throughout the year. For more information, kindly visit their website:

Regrettably, we have temporarily suspended all in-person movement classes due to COVID-19. Nevertheless, Samantha Williams continues to host weekly "live" yoga classes via Zoom, as well as providing yoga videos on YouTube. When the weather permits, she also conducts outdoor live yoga classes. For more information, please visit Samantha's Facebook page "Bold Coast Yoga" or her business website: www.boldcoastyoga.com.

About Downeast Massage Therapy

Arthur and Megan Lindemanis relocated from upstate NY to Downeast Maine in 2012, harboring a shared dream of creating a wellness and healing center offering a diverse range of services to bolster well-being in their community. This dream materialized as Downeast Massage Therapy.

About Megan

Megan, pronounced Meegan, has been a licensed massage therapist since 2001. She possesses a profound fondness for learning and consistently seeks to acquire new bodywork skills to augment her practice and better cater to her clients' needs. Every session is unique and led by the client's specific requirements of the day, as no two individuals meet twice in the same space and time. Megan artfully interweaves her experience with Swedish, Deep Tissue, Fascial Release, Sports Massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Reiki, and Medi-Cupping to craft a tailored treatment for each client. She fervently believes that the body yearns to heal and operate at its peak capacity, and her role is to aid in removing obstacles when feasible and support the "inner physician." Thus, she employs her intuition and endeavors to "listen" to the body's cues, applying her extensive training to facilitate and bolster the healing process.

For several years, Megan has been practicing Craniosacral Therapy (CST), an excellent option for those who relish gentle, calming bodywork. CST is renowned for amplifying the body's capacity to heal itself and maintain wellness. Megan recently underwent training in Visceral Manipulation (VM), another form of delicate bodywork that targets the internal organs' patterns of movement within the abdominal cavity in relation to their natural connections and other tissues, organs, and systems within the body. This technique fosters gentle releases of constrictive patterns and aims to enhance communication between the tissues, organs, and the proprioceptive centers in the brain, thereby encouraging the body's self-correcting mechanisms. The objective is to inspire minor adjustments that lead to improved internal communication, enabling the body to restore and enhance its functionality.

Megan is also a graduate of the Bold Coast Yoga School yoga teacher training (RYT-200) in 2017 and advanced yoga teacher training (RYT-500) in 2020. She skillfully integrates her affection for the human body into her movement classes and private sessions, which focus on interoception, safety, and alignment. Her ambition is to nurture students in cultivating a profound appreciation, enjoyment, and heightened awareness as they explore their bodies through movement, mindfulness, and breath.
