At Hancock Music Studio, we believe that music is for everyone. We exist to educate singers and pianists about healthy practices and train them for personal success. Our lessons are tailored to each student's individual desires, musical preferences, and performance goals. We now accept students in the SE Portland, Gresham, Vancouver, and Lake Oswego area.
Our Instructor: Pollyanna Hancock Moody
Pollyanna Hancock Moody is a soprano with over 20 years of teaching experience. She founded the Hancock Music Studio in 1996, where she teaches Voice, Piano, and Body Mapping. Pollyanna has been part of the Marylhurst University music faculty and taught as an adjunct music faculty at Portland Community College, Rock Creek Campus. She is a certified Andover Educator (Body Mapping) and a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS).
Pollyanna has sung with various groups, including Light Opera of Portland, Fireside Carolers, and Portland Phoenix Choirs Theatrical Performers. She has been a featured soloist with members of the Oregon Symphony, Vivace Voices, the Oregon Repertory Singers, and Marylhurst Choral Union. Pollyanna is the artistic director for the Cantatapacifica choir, founded in October 2018. She received her Master's in Vocal Performance from Portland State University.
Voice Lessons

Piano Lessons
Our piano lessons are designed for beginners and intermediate players. Pollyanna Moody is the accompanist for the Portland Community College Group Vocal class, Hancock Music Studio voice lessons, and children's voice performance class. She can help you read a written score and improve your piano skills.
