Fountain Construction Company, Inc. is a commercial and industrial contractor headquartered in Jackson, MS. With over 60 years of experience, we have evolved from a residential electrical contracting business to a full-service general contractor, offering a wide range of services to our clients. Our company began in 1959, founded by D.G. "Sonny" Fountain, who started Fountain Electric, a firm that grew rapidly and soon began performing large and complex commercial projects. In the 1970s, Fountain formed Mechanical and General Construction divisions, followed by a Sheetmetal Fabrication division in the mid '70s. As the firm grew, the move from subcontractor to general contractor became inevitable, leading to a name change to Fountain Construction Company in 1985.

Fountain began solely as an electrical contractor in 1959, and we have stayed current with the industry's ever-changing electrical needs. Our electrical division has broadened its experience to cover the many applications of electrical work, including power distribution, lighting design, fire alarm systems, and low voltage systems. We provide our clients with the latest technology and solutions that are tailored to their specific needs.

Mechanical Services

Our mechanical division offers a range of services, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and piping. Sheet Metal Fabrication Services

At Fountain Construction, we offer a range of sheet metal fabrication services, from ductwork to custom steel fabrication. Our Sheetmetal Fabrication division was formed in the mid-'70s primarily to support the other operations, but it has also done contract custom steel fabrication work. Our skilled craftsmen can fabricate a wide range of products, from kitchen equipment to fire truck bodies, tanks, conveyors, and special architectural components.
