Our Story

El Flaco's is the brainchild of Scott Stanley, a longtime resident of South Elgin. In the winter of 2011, Scott set out to create a space where his community could come together and enjoy great food and drink. He drew inspiration from Stanley's, a beloved local establishment that had been a mainstay of South Elgin for 14 years.

Today, El Flaco's carries on the tradition of Stanley's, offering a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all. Our menu features a range of Mexican delights, as well as Stanley's classic dishes that have won the hearts of locals and visitors alike.
