Our journey began in 1996 when our founder, Jon Kwiatkowski, started his contracting career in the challenging alpine environment of Summit County, Colorado as High Country Framing. In 2007, Jon moved to New Hampshire to build for family, and in 2012, he made the move permanent.

• Design and Plan Drafting: We provide start-to-finish project management, including designing and drafting the structure of your new home or commercial building.

• Structural Framing and Trim Carpentry: As a licensed contractor, we specialize in structural framing and trim carpentry for both residential and commercial projects.

• Excavation and Septic Installs: With our New Hampshire Licensed Septic Systems installer, we can handle all your excavation and septic installation needs.

• ICF Foundations: We are experts in building Insulated Concrete Foundations (ICF), which offer the highest level of damp proofing and R-Value.

• Masonry: We provide masonry services, including stone masonry, to add a touch of elegance and durability to your project.

• Project Management: Our project management services include managing your project budget, scheduling, and coordinating with subcontractors to ensure your project is completed on time and within budget.

How We Work

At High Life Building Company Inc., we believe in transparency and open communication. We understand that building a new home or commercial structure is a significant investment, and we want to ensure that you are fully informed throughout the entire process.

Our estimating process consists of two parts: the Preliminary Estimate and the Proposal. The Preliminary Estimate is a free estimate based on progress plans and may have a range of 10% variation. The Proposal, on the other hand, is the actual working budget for your project, put together using final building plans, detailed takeoffs, and actual subcontractor bids. There is a fee associated with the Proposal of 1%, but this fee is reimbursed by being applied to the first draw for payment after a build contract is signed.

We also use Cost Codes for different elements of the building process, from permits and plans to the final cleanup. Each part of the process has its own code, ensuring that you have a clear understanding of where your money is being spent.

In addition, we provide periodic photo emails for long-distance clients, so they can visually see the progress of their project. This way, everyone involved in the project is working with correct and detailed information, ensuring that your project is completed to your satisfaction.
