Daniel D. Mead
Dan Mead is a general practitioner whose main areas of practice involve family law, elder law, real estate, probate, and civil litigation. He is a member of the Michigan State Bar and the Marquette County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Tribal Court and the Federal District Court. Dan is also an active member of various sections of the state bar, including the Real Property Law Section, Probate & Estate Planning Section, General Practice Section, Elder Law and Family Law Sections.
Dan grew up in Northwest Ohio and served in the US Marine Corps as an infantryman for four years. He attended Oakland University and Thomas M. Cooley Law School, graduating cum laude. While in college, Dan met his wife, a Yooper girl named Kelly, who brought him to the Upper Peninsula. Dan and Kelly live in Marquette with their two children, and he is actively involved in the community.
Richard M. Graybill
Richard Graybill graduated cum laude from Wayne State University of Law School and received his undergraduate degree from Albion College. He has been practicing law for over 50 years and has spent most of those years helping clients in the Ishpeming area. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Marquette County Bar Association, and is also admitted to practice in the Federal Court. Richard is a member of the Master Lawyers Section of the Michigan Bar and the Real Property Law Section. He served in the United States Army Judge Advocate General's Corps prior to practicing in the U.P.
Richard spends a large part of his time assisting the community as a board member for the Ishpeming Salvation Army, the Ishpeming Cancer Society, the Great Lakes Recovery Centers, and the Marquette County United Way.
Amy Schultz
Amy Schultz is a U.P. native growing up in the small town of Watton. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree and completed her law degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She returned back to the area to practice law with our firm as a general practitioner. Her primary areas of practice include estate planning, family law, Medicaid planning, probate estate administration, trust administration, business consulting, business purchase and sales, liquor license transfers, and real estate transactions.
Amy is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Marquette County Bar Association, and is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and also in the Federal Court for the Western District of Michigan, including the Bankruptcy Court. She is a member of the following sections of the Michigan Bar: Probate & Estate Planning Section, Elder Law & Disability Rights Section.
