Meet Dr. Matthew Evers

Floyd Baker Dental is proud to be owned and operated by Dr. Matthew Evers, a Gaffney native who understands the community he serves. Dr. Evers's passion for dentistry stems from his desire to make a positive impact on people's lives through improved oral health and confidence. His journey began right here in Gaffney where he attended Limestone College, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry. Motivated to deepen his scientific understanding, he pursued a Master's Degree in Human Physiology at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. It was there, amidst the vibrant atmosphere of academia, that he met his future wife, Neely. Together, they embarked on a new chapter in Charleston, South Carolina, where they married and Dr. Evers continued his education at the Medical University of South Carolina.

He graduated in May 2015 with his Doctor of Medical Dentistry Degree, setting the stage for a fulfilling career dedicated to providing exceptional dental care. Following graduation, Dr. Evers established his own practice in Sidney, Ohio, where he built an enduring reputation for excellence and patient-centered care. He has since returned to his South Carolina roots, bringing his expertise and dedication to Floyd Baker Dental. Dr. Evers and Neely are now raising two daughters, Libby and Clara, finding joy in balancing their busy lives with family time, reading, golfing, and exploring all the South has to offer.
