Founded in 1950 by three brothers, Kenneth F. Long, Charles L. Long, and David B. Long, Sr., all veterans of World War II, the company has a rich history in the region. Originally operating out of Camden, Arkansas, as general sheet metal work, the Long brothers expanded their services to include roofing and changed the name to Long's Roofing and Metal Fabrication Works. In 1953, David Long, Sr. moved his family to the El Dorado area and opened a second sheet metal shop. Over the years, the company has grown significantly, expanding its services to include custom metal fabrication, 24/7 delivery service within a 100-mile radius, and its service area now covers South Arkansas, North Louisiana, and parts of East Texas.
