Our Team

The compassionate and knowledgeable team at Heartland Women's Healthcare is committed to providing exceptional care. Our team is led by Dr. Kristi Peterson, a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist. She is joined by Jessica Gering APRN, specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Michelle McCaslin APRN, who focuses on Functional Medicine for both women and men. Each of our medical professionals is dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient-centered care, fostering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere.

Obstetrical Care

Our comprehensive obstetric services provide compassionate and attentive care throughout your pregnancy journey. From preconception counseling to labor and delivery, we are dedicated to guiding you every step of the way. Our state-of-the-art 3D/4D ultrasound technology allows for a more detailed and engaging visualization of your growing baby. We offer a range of birthing options, including spontaneous vaginal delivery, external version, and Cesarean section, ensuring that you have the support and expertise required for a safe and fulfilling birth experience. We also provide prenatal testing services, such as Non-Stress Test (NST) monitoring, which is crucial for high-risk pregnancies, ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby.

At Nebraska Medicine's hospitals, our designated facility offers a range of birthing resources including nine labor and delivery rooms with refrigerators, three operating rooms, two triage rooms, a GYN exam room, and a brand new state-of-the-art nursery. Their facilities have received recognition for excellence, including the 2015 America's Best Hospitals for Obstetrics - Women's Choice Award.

Gynecological Care

We also specialize in comprehensive reproductive health services, including birth control options, hormone replacement therapy, and the management of menstrual irregularities.
