I'm Kristyn, a documentary photographer, artist, and coach who loves to create a relaxed and natural atmosphere for my clients. My approach to photography is all about capturing the unscripted, unposed moments that tell the truth about who we are and how we live. Whether it's a family gathering, a couple's love story, or a business's brand, my goal is to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and can be themselves.

My Story

As a photographer, I've had the privilege of capturing life's special moments for many people. My journey began when I started shooting on a Polaroid Cool Cam in 1988, and I've been hooked ever since. Through my work, I aim to celebrate the beauty of everyday life and love all the quirks and imperfections that make us human.

Why I Do What I Do

As a photographer, I believe that our photographs are a tangible evidence of our time on this earth, and they should reflect the beauty and chaos of life. I'm passionate about documenting love in all its forms, and I believe that everyone deserves to have their story told in a way that feels authentic and true to who they are.

Coaching and Podcasting

In addition to photography, I also coach creative women to help them uncover their unique voice and bring their ideas to life. I'm also the host of the podcast "The Documented Heart, " where I explore topics such as creativity, entrepreneurship, and storytelling.

Giving Back

As a business owner, I believe that we have a responsibility to give back to our communities and support causes that align with our values. Each year, a portion of my revenue goes to local and national organizations that support marginalized communities and creative programs that encourage and support all kids.

Random Fun Facts

• I have a confession to make: I love coffee and might shout about it if I've had too much.
• I've accidentally killed 23 out of 28 succulents in the last 10 years. Maybe I should stick to photography.
• Everything is better with butter. Okay, almost everything.
• I learned how to drive a stickshift in a big field in Colorado on a double-clutch truck when I was 20.
