About Me

I believe in the transformative power of therapy. I am passionate about creating a safe, welcoming space where individuals, couples, and families can explore their challenges, discover new possibilities, and build resilience.

I work with people who are struggling with:

  • Anxiety and depression: overcoming low moods, overcoming worry and fear, regaining a sense of purpose and fulfillment.
  • Trauma: healing from past experiences of abuse, neglect or loss.
  • Relationship issues: strengthening communication, building intimacy, navigating conflict and fostering healthier connections.
  • Personal growth: achieving professional development, overcoming procrastination, and living a more fulfilling life.

My Approach

I utilize evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based interventions and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to empower clients to take charge of their well-being. I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring my methods to each individual, couple or family and drawing on their strengths and resources.

My Background and Experience

I have over 30 years of experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan. My clinical background includes:

  • Working with children, adolescents, adults and families.
  • Facilitating therapy groups for various populations, including grandparents raising grandchildren, LGBTQ+ individuals in recovery, and survivors of trauma.
  • Providing counseling in various settings, including community mental health centers, private practices and non-profit organizations.
