Meet Our Team

• Brittany Hornung: Brittany received her bachelor's degree in accounting in 2016 from the University of Oregon and her CPA certificate in November 2017. She became a partner in the accounting firm in January 2019 and is now the sole owner. Brittany enjoys backpacking with her family and goldendoodle, and she is a member of the OSCPA, OAIA, and the Florence Area Chamber of Commerce.
• Mike Buckwald: Mike received his bachelor's degree in accounting in 1979 from the University of Oregon and started his career as an accountant for the firm of Joseph English, CPA in Florence, Oregon. He received his CPA certificate in January 1997 and became a partner with Joseph English until he passed away in 2000. Mike enjoys fishing, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is a Vietnam Veteran and a member of the OSCPA and OAIA.
• Taylor Coolidge: Taylor is one of our talented bookkeepers and payroll processors. She found her passion for accounting and bookkeeping when she came to work at our firm in 2021 and is currently studying for her tax preparer's license. Taylor is a Florence native and enjoys board games, crocheting, and thrifting.
• Brian Smart: Brian is a payroll specialist, bookkeeper, and licensed tax preparer. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Oregon and previously worked in food service management for over five years. Brian enjoys growing plants and vegetables in the summer and spending time with his tuxedo cat Boots all year round.
• Jennifer Marus: Jennifer is our office manager, tax preparer, lead bookkeeper, and payroll expert. She enjoys baking and spending time with her family.
