We are a team of experienced professionals, well-versed in precision hair-cutting methods and advanced coloring techniques.
Meet Our Team
Monique - Master Stylist / Owner
Monique's passion for eco-conscious beauty started early. She is a beauty pro with over 20 years of experience in the industry, having worked in top-tier salons such as Bumble & Bumble and Frederic Fekkai. Monique specializes in both razor and dry cutting techniques and has earned Philadelphia Magazine's "Best of Philly" award for women's haircuts.
Vince - Master Stylist
Vince is a consummate hairstylist with over two decades of experience in the hair industry. He has a strong foundation in precision haircutting and coloring and is known for his eye for detail, humble nature, and intelligent conversations. Vince enjoys spending time with his dogs, art, music, and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques.
Mark - Stylist
Mark is a highly experienced and passionate stylist with over 31 years of experience in the industry. He is a Vidal Sassoon-trained professional who delivers haircuts that complement your lifestyle and make you feel confident and fabulous. Mark loves hearing your hair stories and working together to create a unique hair story that reflects your personality and style.
Murphy - Ambassador
Distinguished, semi-social and fun, Murphy is our salon mascot and is wildly popular with clients at MOKO. He roams the premises, inspecting color and cuts for quality control, in between scouring for treats, seeking adoring pet rubs, and stealing the occasional towel from an unsuspecting guest.

MOKO offers the best organic haircare and skincare services in a friendly, open & airy, hygienic environment, in vibrant Old City. We work one-on-one and follow safe protocol during these Covid times. Our services include:
- Haircuts and Styling: From straight razor and dry cuts to classic bobs and textured shags, our team of experts has got you covered.
- Color Services: Subtle highlights or bold tresses of balayage, we use only the best organic color products to achieve your desired look.
- Special Occasion Hair: Whether it's your wedding day or a special event, our team of experts will ensure you look and feel your best.
- Skincare Services: While we are not currently offering skincare services other than brow waxing due to Covid 19, please stay tuned as we update our service page and offerings.
Safe Protocol During Covid Times
At MOKO, your safety and the safety of our team is our top priority. We have implemented the following safe protocols during these Covid times:
- One on One Service: Each stylist works individually, start to finish, on their salon guest.
- Masks Required: Upon entry to moko and during all services.
- Temperature at Door: Temps above 100.4 f will not gain entry.
- Sanitation: Before/ After/ During all services.
- Covid Release Form: All clients required to sign form to ensure proper Covid tracing.
