Poor Customer Service and Unreliable Repairs
Many reviewers have expressed dissatisfaction with their experiences at Gene's Auto Repair. Bryan Perez, who gave the shop 2 stars, reported that they had his truck towed in for repairs, but when he picked it up, the issue was still not fixed. The shop also charged him for repairs that were not completed. Jorge Sanchez, another 2-star reviewer, had a similar experience and described the service as "least then pleasant" and the staff as "rude."
Inaccurate Invoices and Unmet Expectations
Michelle Griffin, who gave the shop 1 star, took her expedition to Gene's for repairs, but when she reviewed her invoice, she discovered that several services were not completed, including replacing the timing chain and timing gear, and fixing the window motor. The Owners response was "faults, " and Michelle accused the shop of falsifying her invoice.

Shannon Lynch, who also gave 1 star, had a bad experience when she called the shop to schedule an appointment. The woman who answered the phone was "snappy and rude." J.J. H., who gave 1 star, reported that the person answering the phones was "beyond rude" and "not helpful or friendly."
