At Lighthouse Bilingual Academy, we believe that providing a strong foundation in Christian education is crucial for our children's spiritual, emotional, social, and academic growth. Our academy is dedicated to offering a comprehensive and edifying bilingual education to the next generation of believers in Christ.

Our History

Our story began as a vision of several women from the Iglesia Biblica Cristo Viene who desired to see a bilingual Christian school in North Garland. They prayed and worked diligently to make the school a reality. In September 2014, Lighthouse Bilingual Academy opened its doors with 4 students in Pre-K3 and 4. Since then, we have grown and now offer kindergarten and first grade. Our mission is to provide academic excellence through Christian education in a bilingual setting, equipping students to communicate in English and Spanish and impacting families through the light and truth of Scripture.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to educate our children according to their Christian and cultural heritage, prepare students to read, write, and speak English and Spanish, offer academic excellence through a curriculum based on Scripture, teach the Bible, maintain a low teacher-student ratio (1/10-15), and offer enrichment classes in art and music.

Our curriculum is so designed to integrate Biblical principles in all areas of study, providing a clear understanding of God's love, His character, and His plan for our lives.

Our curriculum is designed to engage children in active play, providing opportunities for exploration, discovery, and problem-solving. We use Bible-based activities to reinforce learning and encourage spiritual growth.

Phonics and Math

Our phonics program focuses on letter recognition, sight words, and basic math skills. Our math program is designed to provide a solid foundation in numbers, counting, and basic calculation skills.
