With a strong recommendation from his father, Craig enrolled in an associate degree program in Occupational Studies with a focus on HVAC technology. Three years later, Craig went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

After working for several large engineering groups and HVAC companies, Craig decided it was time to start his own business. In 2009, True Mechanical Heating and Cooling was born, starting from a basement with an initial investment of just $3,500. Craig's business plan was to attract customers through word-of-mouth, advertising, and exceptional service. By focusing on delivering top-notch customer support and providing reasonable prices for air conditioning, heating, and heat pump systems, True Mechanical quickly gained a loyal customer base.
