At Ashworth Design Studio, we are dedicated to fully utilizing our knowledge, design sensibilities, and years of experience to create holistic design solutions that are enriching to our clients' lives as well as to the natural environment. Meet Heidi

Heidi, the founder of Ashworth Design Studio, grew up in Seattle adjacent to a greenbelt where she spent her time experiencing the wonder of nature, encountering practical life lessons, and exercising her imagination. Her sense of wellbeing in the outdoors ignited a lifelong interest in what creates a positive human interaction within physical spaces. Her formative years also involved learning piano and viola, which taught her the importance of collaboration and attention to detail in creating a work of art. These gifts led Heidi to pursue an education and career where her emotional and sensorial intelligence would be of great benefit in creating spaces in which many people have played out important events in their own lives enriched by Heidi's contributions.

Heidi's education includes a BA in Interior Design from Washington State University, and she enjoyed a successful 25-year career as an NCIDQ qualified professional at architectural firms in Seattle. She designed spaces for both casual and celebratory dining, resorts for much-needed retreat and relaxation, high-end retail, wellness centers, and modern in-city living. Because of her indelible connection with nature, her design solutions often intuitively incorporated elements of the natural world. Heidi returned to college in 2010 and enrolled in the Ornamental Horticulture program at South Seattle College, where she honed her skills in plant selection, identification, and care.

Landscape Design Services

At Ashworth Design Studio, we offer landscape design services for planning landscapes within new construction as well as for existing landscapes. Our design services are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, and we work closely with our clients to create a design that reflects their personal style and enhances their outdoor living space. Our services include site analysis, concept development, plant selection and placement, hardscape design, and construction administration.

Consultations

At Ashworth Design Studio, we offer consultations to help clients achieve their landscape goals. Whether a client needs help with plant selection, design ideas, or guidance on maintaining their existing landscape, we are here to help. Our consultations are tailored to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, and we provide thoughtful recommendations and solutions based on our expertise and years of experience.

Our consultations may include site analysis, plant selection, design ideas, construction guidance, and maintenance recommendations. We work closely with our clients to ensure that their landscape goals are met and that their new environment is enriching and healing.
