At Creative Minds Preschool, we believe in nurturing young minds through a play-based, nature-infused environment that fosters individual potential and builds confident, independent learners. Who We Are
Creative Minds Preschool is a part-time program led by experienced childcare professional and owner, Christie Finnegan. Supported by a team of dedicated and passionate educators, we offer a unique blend of educational and creative activities designed to spark children's curiosity and foster their love for learning.
Our Team
- Christie Finnegan: With a background in Arts Management and Studio Arts, Christie brings over 20 years of experience as a preschool teacher and art instructor to Creative Minds.
- Amelia Maher: A student at the College of Charleston, Amelia is passionate about working with young children and creating a positive and safe learning environment.
- Crystal DeMey: Founder and owner of Sing, Play, and Learn, Crystal brings joy and musical learning to our program.
- Sabrina Clark: A certified music therapist, Sabrina utilizes her musical expertise to foster creativity and social development in young minds.
- Aylin Konhilas: With over 20 years of yoga experience, Aylin provides a calming and mindful presence to our program.
- Mallory Langston: A certified sound healer, Mallory uses the power of sound to promote relaxation, focus, and emotional wellness.
Our Programs
We offer two programs to meet your needs:
- Standard Program: Our standard program runs Monday through Friday from 9am-12:45pm and includes lunch.
- After-School Program: This extended learning program runs from 12:45 to 2:30pm and offers a variety of enriching activities.
Summer Camps
During the summer months, we host engaging and educational summer camps focused on diverse themes such as Yoga & Mindfulness, The Great Outdoors, Local Plants & Animals, and Ocean Adventures.
