At South Shore Pottery Shop, we are more than just a paint your own pottery studio. We are a creative community, a space for self-expression, and a hub for artistic exploration. For over 13 years, we have been dedicated to providing unique experiences for our customers, allowing them to tap into their inner artist and create something truly special.

Our journey began as a brick-and-mortar studio, but after an encounter at a music festival in July 2022, we decided to take our passion for pottery on the road. Now, we travel around the local area, bringing our mobile paint your own pottery studio to various locations such as breweries, restaurants, dispensaries, garden centers, coffee shops, and recreation centers.

• On-Site Painting: We bring all the necessary materials to your chosen location, including bisque, brushes, and pottery. You paint your masterpiece, and we take care of the rest, clear glazing and firing your piece in our kiln. Once fired, your artwork will be available for pick-up or local delivery.

• Custom Orders: From hand-painted ceramic pieces for your home to custom bongs and bowls, we can create anything you desire. Our team of skilled artists will work closely with you to ensure your vision becomes a reality.

• Upcoming Markets: Visit us at our upcoming pop-ups and markets, where we showcase and sell our hand-painted ceramic pieces. Our selection is tailored to each market's target audience, ensuring there's something for everyone.

• Custom Pipe & Bong Orders: Combine two passions into one with our custom pipe and bong orders. Send us your ideas, and we'll take care of the rest.

• Handprints for the Holidays: Create unique gifts that will be treasured for a lifetime with our handprint designs. Perfect for new home buyers, holiday gifts, or those who want to remember their childhood home.

Our Story

In July 2022, we were approached by a local dispensary at a music festival where we were selling our hand-painted bongs and bowls. They asked, "How would you like to sell your hand-painted pieces at our dispensary?" That encounter changed the course of our business, leading us to close our brick-and-mortar location and become a mobile paint your own pottery studio.

As a mother-daughter duo of artists and teachers, we are dedicated to providing a welcoming and supportive environment for our customers. With our guidance, supplies, and techniques, every piece created will be a cherished work of art.
