Coyote Kids Child Care

At Coyote Kids Child Care & Learning Center, we've been dedicated to providing a nurturing and educational environment for children aged two and a half to six years old for over four decades. Since 1978, our family-owned and operated center has been a trusted choice for families in the Henderson/Las Vegas area. Our unique approach to early childhood education is centered around creating a warm and engaging atmosphere that fosters curiosity, creativity, and social learning.

Our Philosophy

At Coyote Kids, we believe that every child is unique and deserves a personalized approach to their education. We don't believe in segregating children by age and confining them to a single room all day. Instead, we randomly divide our kids by age every day, allowing them to rotate through different areas of our facility for various activities. This provides them with opportunities to interact with peers of different ages and abilities, making learning exciting and challenging.

Our Program

Our curriculum is designed to encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. We place great emphasis on storytelling and music, with designated areas for these activities. Our art room is designed to foster creativity, while our science and math areas encourage experimentation and deduction. Our outdoor classroom provides ample opportunities for social learning, exploration, and physical activity.

Our Staff

Our team of experienced teachers and caregivers are dedicated to providing exceptional care and education. Our director, Linda Schlueter, has over a decade of experience working with preschool-age children and is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for our students. All of our staff members meet the Nevada licensing requirements, including background checks, CPR/First Aid training, and early childhood training. They are passionate about helping shape young minds and work closely with parents to ensure every child's individual needs are met.

Our Facilities

Our facilities are designed to promote exploration, creativity, and social learning. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are carefully designed to encourage movement, imagination, and collaboration. We have designated areas for different activities, including art, music, science, and math, as well as an outdoor classroom and playground.

Our Community

We believe in fostering strong community ties and partnerships. We have a unique relationship with the Beehive Homes, a senior assisted living community located adjacent to our center. Our children have the opportunity to visit with the residents, perform for them, and participate in special activities together. This not only brings joy to both populations but also provides valuable socialization and learning opportunities for our children.

Our Services

We offer preschool and daycare programs for children aged 2.5 years old and potty trained. Our part-time daycare program is available with a two-day minimum, and enrollment forms will need to be completed with immunization records and a health statement. A one-time registration fee of $50 is required upon enrollment.
