LittleSeeds Learning Center is dedicated to providing personalized developmental childcare in a character and values-based environment. Our mission is to work closely with parents to create a setting where children can reach their full potential. We strive to accomplish this by offering programs that stress the individual, cognitive, social/emotional, and physical needs of the child. We uphold the highest standards in health and safety and hire, train, and motivate qualified teachers and assistants. Additionally, we continuously evaluate and upgrade our established procedures and systems to ensure the best possible care for your child.

Our Philosophy and Foundational Principles

At LittleSeeds Learning Center, we provide an environment where children are encouraged to grow and develop at their own rate. We believe in fostering a positive and healthy self-image and helping children learn to handle their emotions appropriately. Our foundational principles are: Begin with the end in mind, say what you mean and mean what you say, and treat others the way you want to be treated. Our goal is to help your child learn how to go from "me to we" through a well-rounded play-based program that encourages individual growth as well as working with others.

We believe that play is the work of childhood and take a play-based approach to learning. Through play, children develop important skills and a desire to learn and grow. As the late Fred Rogers said, "Play is really the work of childhood."

Our Programs

LittleSeeds Learning Center offers a range of programs for children from infants through Pre-K ages. Our morning pre-school is available for all enrolled kids, and we offer age-appropriate curriculum for every classroom. Throughout the month, children engage in arts and crafts, stories, circle time, center play, science, songs, games, and outdoor play that reflect upon the weekly theme. Additionally, every month focuses on a different color, shape, number, and letter.

Our curriculum is designed to enhance the development of the whole child. We focus on cognitive development through hands-on experiences in language, math, science, art, music, and social studies. Physical development is promoted through large and small muscle coordination and motor skills activities. Social/emotional development is encouraged through group activities, learning to take turns, developing a feeling of security and belonging, and a sense of responsibility for oneself.
