Hello! I'm Rachel - owner and lead photographer of Shelby Street Studios. My passion lies in serving classy, kind-hearted couples in a refined and real way. I aim for every session and wedding to be professional, personable, sophisticated, and sincere. With almost a decade of experience as a wedding photographer, I consider it a privilege to create beautiful images that my sweet couples can relive over and over again.

As a sentimental Southern girl, I believe that capturing your best day in a series of photographs that you can cherish for a lifetime is part of my purpose, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to do what I love every day. When I'm not behind the camera, you can find me enjoying time with my husband, being a mom to my five amazing children, volunteering for a good cause, or sharing a good cup of coffee with friends.

The History of Shelby Street Studios

Shelby Street Studios has a rich history that started when two people fell in love. Founded by my friends, Patrick and Brittany Clark, in 2009, the company's name originates from the street where they bought their first home after getting married. As their friend and fellow photographer, I had the privilege of working with them for seven years, documenting love stories and capturing beautiful moments in time.

In 2020, Patrick and Brittany moved their family out of state and passed the torch to me, asking me to become the owner and sole, lead photographer of Shelby Street Studios. This transition was deeply considered, as legacy is essential in the business of capturing the very beginning of your legacy as a couple.
