Making Your Child's Health Our Priority

At STEP Pediatrics, we are dedicated to providing the highest quality of pediatric care to the children of The Woodlands, Texas, from birth through college. Our team of experienced and compassionate pediatricians, Dr. Joan Purcell, Dr. Ryan Kozak, Dr. Veriah Plasencia, and Dr. Amanda Chavez, are committed to making each visit a positive and informative experience for both the child and their family.

Comprehensive Pediatric Services

STEP Pediatrics offers a wide range of pediatric services, including well-child visits, sick visits, immunizations, developmental assessments, and telemedicine consultations. We believe in a holistic approach to pediatric care, addressing not only physical health but also emotional, social, and mental well-being. Our team works closely with parents and caregivers to ensure that children receive the best possible care, tailored to their individual needs.

Well-Child Visits

Our well-child visits follow the American Academy of Pediatrics' guidelines, including regular developmental and behavioral screenings, immunizations, and health maintenance. These visits provide an opportunity for parents and caregivers to ask questions, discuss concerns, and stay up-to-date on their child's health and development.

Sick Visits

When your child is ill, we understand the importance of providing prompt and effective care. Our team is skilled in diagnosing and treating a wide range of pediatric illnesses, from common colds and flu to more serious conditions. We work closely with families to develop a treatment plan that addresses the child's immediate needs while also promoting long-term health and well-being.

Telemedicine

STEP Pediatrics has added telemedicine to our patient treatment offerings. Telemedicine provides a convenient and safe way for children to receive medical care without leaving home. This service is ideal for non-urgent appointments, follow-up visits, and consultations.

Coronavirus Disease Response

STEP Pediatrics is committed to the health and safety of our patients, families, and staff. In response to the coronavirus pandemic, we have implemented changes to our appointment scheduling and triage process to prevent the spread of illness and protect vulnerable populations. These changes include block scheduling for well and sick visits, telemedicine consultations, and strict cleaning and disinfection protocols.

Conveniently Located in The Woodlands

STEP Pediatrics is conveniently located in the heart of The Woodlands on West Panther Creek Drive. Our central location makes it easy for families to access high-quality pediatric care close to home.
