MWW On Demand is a company with a rich history that dates back to 1932. Founded by Tom Oates in the prime of the textile industry, our privately owned company has established itself as an innovative force in the gift and decorative accessories industry. Our Early Beginnings

Tom Oates, the founder of MWW, started crafting wood carvings by hand and selling them alongside locally-sourced products in his shop and on the road. His carvings, made from mountain laurel and featuring the names of national parks, quickly gained popularity. This early success paved the way for our growth and expansion.

Second Generation at the Helm

In the early 1970s, Lemuel and Sandra Oates took over the company, bringing their unique skills and experience to the table. Lemuel had a background in manufacturing production control, while Sandra had worked in government security. Together, they recognized an opportunity to balance the company's financials and expanded into the gift industry.
