Creekside Acupuncture & Natural Medicine is a holistic health practice founded by Stephanie Ellis, L.Ac. in 2001. Located in Rosendale, NY, we serve the Ulster County and Hudson Valley areas. Our mission is to provide compassionate, non-judgmental care, recognizing the complexity of each individual and their environment. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
Our Services
We offer a wide range of services including acupuncture, massage, gua-sha, cupping, stretching exercises, yoga poses, breathing exercises, meditation instruction, Chinese herbal medicine, dietary and lifestyle counseling, and nutritional supplements. Treatments are tailored to each client's specific needs and condition. We treat patients from infants to senior citizens and everyone in between, with a special focus on supporting marginalized communities.
About Stephanie Ellis, L.Ac.Stephanie's journey began with an undergraduate degree from Columbia University, where she studied Pre-Medical Studies and Sociology. After graduating, she spent a year working at a health center for indigenous people on the Yankton Sioux Reservation in South Dakota. She later worked for a breast cancer education non-profit in NYC before pursuing her interest in acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Her own experiences with autoimmune disease, chronic pain, depression, and anxiety have shaped her approach to care, emphasizing empathy and understanding.
