Our History

The Eley Mccrory Funeral Home, Inc. has a rich history that dates back to the 1800s, when funeral directors were also cabinet makers. The original funeral home was named George McCrory and sons until 1958, when it became Howard W. McCrory Funeral Home. In 1997, E. James Eley Jr. purchased the funeral home and renamed it Eley Mccrory Funeral Home, Inc. Today, our funeral home is still family-owned and operated, with E. James Eley Jr. serving as the supervisor and his son, James Eley, as the owner and partner.
