At Katz Moving, we understand the importance of being eco-friendly. That's why we use no cardboard boxes made from trees and no plastic tape made from fossil fuels. Katz Moving is fully licensed and regulated by the US DOT and NYS DOT for household goods moving and general property moving services. We are an interstate motor carrier and can directly service your move throughout the United States. Our licenses include USDOT # 2280679 and NYSDOT # T-38598.

Our Founder

Jon Katz, the founder of Katz Moving, spent a decade helping to build FlatRate Moving into NYC's largest residential and commercial moving company. However, by the spring of 2012, he was convinced that the world was ready to "Move Different." Jon believed that it was time to reinvent the industry by rethinking every aspect of moving and developing systems and procedures to provide a more transparent, eco-friendly, and stress-free moving experience.
