Maurice & Son Auto Body has been a family-owned and operated business since 1967. Our commitment to quality workmanship and customer service has earned us a reputation as one of the leading auto body shops in the region. With a team of outstanding technicians, including those with I-CAR training and certification, we are dedicated to ensuring that every vehicle that enters our shop receives the best possible care.

From humble beginnings in a small garage to our current state-of-the-art facility, we have consistently expanded and improved our services to meet the growing demands of our clients. Our owner, Mike, has made it his goal to provide exceptional quality and service, and it is this focus that has enabled us to grow and thrive over the years.

Our History

The story of Maurice & Son Auto Body began with Maurice Bard, who opened a small auto body shop out of his West Street garage in Fairfield. Over the years, Maurice grew his business and eventually expanded his operations, increasing the number of employees to meet the demand. When Maurice retired, his son Mike took over the business, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience gained from working alongside his father.

Under Mike's leadership, we have continued to expand and improve our services. In 2008, we added a 4500 sq. foot extension to our West Street location, and in 2011, we acquired another body shop in Skowhegan. However, with the growth and the need for more space, we made the decision to relocate to a new site in Waterville. Our current facility, opened in November 2017, is a 12500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art body shop, allowing us to better serve our clients and provide the highest quality repairs.
