*Susan Giglia, DC*

A 1985 graduate of Sherman Chiropractic College, Dr. Susan Giglia practiced full-time in the office until 1990. With a B.S. in Animal Husbandry and a lifelong dedication to animal welfare and rescue, she brings a unique perspective and empathetic approach to her patients' wellness journeys. Dr. Susan Giglia has been an integral part of the practice, and she is happily expanding her office hours after successfully homeschooling and seeing her two children off to college.

*Michael Giglia, DC*

Dr. Michael Giglia earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman Chiropractic College in 1985. With his wife, Dr. Susan Giglia, he co-founded Damariscotta Chiropractic Health Center months after graduation. Dr. Michael Giglia believes that life presents opportunities and choices for individuals to make their lives better. With his expertise and experience, he is committed to helping patients make health, lifestyle, and performance changes when the time is right for them. Dr. Michael Giglia is not only a skilled chiropractor but also a triathlete, marathon runner, biker, artist, life coach, and a black belt in karate. His most notable accomplishment is being the proud father of two extraordinary children.

3. Thermography and Surface Electromyography (SEMG): As part of our initial assessment, we use computerized spinal scans comprised of thermography (spinal temperature analysis) and SEMG (muscle analysis) to gather valuable information about your spinal health and nervous system function.

4. Spinal X-Rays: If necessary, we conduct spinal X-rays to further evaluate a patient's condition and develop a customized treatment plan.

Expectations for Your First Visit

During your first visit, we prioritize collecting valuable information about your spinal health and nervous system function without making assumptions about your body's state. The initial appointment takes about an hour and includes:

• Complete and confidential case history
• Computerized spinal scans (thermography and SEMG)
• Spinal X-rays (if appropriate)
• Your first adjustment

Your second visit will include a full report of your exam information, recommendations, and your second adjustment.
