At Fletcher Pilates, we are committed to preserving the legacy of Joseph and Clara Pilates' physical conditioning method, as interpreted and expanded by Pilates Master Ron Fletcher. Our mission is to educate and mentor the next generation of Pilates Teachers in the art of body consciousness and movement manipulation.

The Story of Fletcher Pilates

Ron Fletcher, a renowned Pilates Master Teacher, author, and Martha Graham dancer, was drawn to the world of Pilates in the 1940s. He studied directly under Joseph and Clara Pilates, spending years learning the principles of Body Contrology, the name given to the Pilates method. Fletcher's organic, movement-based approach to Pilates has inspired generations of Pilates teachers and practitioners. Today, our school continues to grow in popularity, and so too does the demand for Fletcher Pilates Teachers.

Our Curriculum

Our comprehensive and definitive international Pilates educational program is derived from the physical conditioning method developed by Joseph and Clara Pilates in the 1920s. We expand on this foundation by incorporating the evolution and interpretation of Pilates Master Ron Fletcher. Our curriculum is one of the most comprehensive and definitive international Pilates educational programs of its kind, and is the only program endorsed by Ron Fletcher.

The Fletcher Studio

Our studio is the international headquarters for Fletcher Pilates, offering a full range of beautifully crafted and professionally maintained Pilates apparatus based on the original designs provided to Ron Fletcher by Clara Pilates. Our skilled instructors have completed the rigorous Fletcher Pilates education and are Nationally Certified Pilates Teachers (NCPTs). We offer customized private sessions and a wide range of group classes, providing an ideal environment to support both clients and future Pilates Teachers.
