Dr. Shawn McDonald is a Board Certified optometrist specializing in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. After earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Newman University in Wichita, Kansas, in 1982, he went on to graduate from the Southern California College of Optometry in 1986. Upon graduation, Dr. McDonald relocated to Placerville, CA, where he has been practicing ever since. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association.
