At Arkansas Health Care Association (AHCA), our mission is to promote excellence in nursing home and long-term care facilities. To achieve this, we focus on providing information, training, and support to our member facilities throughout the state. By doing so, we empower our member facilities to deliver exceptional care, service, and satisfaction to residents and their families.

Our History

Established in 1951, AHCA is the state's largest organization of long-term care providers. We represent more than 90% of the licensed long-term care facilities in Arkansas. Our responsibilities include educating, informing, and representing our members and member facilities before government agencies, other trade associations, and related industries. We provide training, education, and assistance to care facilities across the state, promoting high-quality care for patients and strict professional standards for staff.

Our Mission

AHCA is committed to cooperating with the state legislature and state Office of Long-Term Care to improve the quality of life in Arkansas nursing homes. We strive to provide the highest level of care for our residents and maintain professional excellence in every aspect of our services.

Our Association

The Arkansas Assisted Living Association (AALA) is dedicated to establishing the highest standards of excellence for assisted living professionals providing housing, assisted living, and related services to Arkansas seniors. We believe that our seniors deserve the right to receive the highest quality care in a choice-driven, dignified, safe, and clean environment, promoting independence and maintaining the highest quality of life.

What We Offer

Arkansas Health Care Association provides a range of services to our member facilities, including:

• Infection Preventionist Regional Trainings: We offer training and education to our member facilities to help them prepare for infection prevention and control.
• Registration Now Open: We invite you to register now to take part in our regional trainings and conferences.
• Emergency Preparedness: We provide resources and support to our member facilities to help them prepare for emergency situations.
• Tools and Resources: We offer training, education, and assistance to care facilities across the state, promoting high-quality care for patients and strict professional standards for staff.
