Our Mission and Vision
Our mission is to provide a holistic, family-centered approach to the reduction of negative alcohol and other drug abuse issues. We believe that effective treatment requires a comprehensive approach that addresses not only substance abuse, but also the underlying factors that contribute to addiction.
Our vision is to develop and foster a total therapeutic community in which agencies and organizations work together to reduce and control problems related to those abusing or at risk of abusing alcohol and other drugs. We believe that by working together, we can create a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes health, wellness, and recovery.
Services We Offer
At Gateway Counseling, we offer a wide range of services designed to meet the unique needs of our clients. These services include:
- Adolescent Outpatient: Our adolescent outpatient program is designed to help young people overcome addiction and related mental health challenges. Our experienced counselors work with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan that addresses their unique needs.
- Adult Outpatient: Our adult outpatient program provides comprehensive counseling and therapy services to adults struggling with addiction and related mental health issues. Our counselors work with clients to develop coping skills, improve communication, and address underlying issues that contribute to addiction.
- DUI Relicensing (ADSAP): Our DUI relicensing program is designed to help individuals who have been convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) meet the requirements for license reinstatement. Our program includes alcohol and drug education, counseling, and support services.
- Medication Assisted Treatment: Our medication-assisted treatment program combines medication with counseling and therapy to help individuals overcome addiction. Our experienced medical professionals work closely with each client to develop a personalized treatment plan.
- Gambling: Our gambling program is designed to help individuals overcome compulsive gambling behaviors. Our experienced counselors work with clients to develop coping skills, improve communication, and address underlying issues that contribute to gambling addiction.
- Drug Testing: Our drug testing services are available to individuals and organizations seeking to maintain a drug-free environment. Our testing is confidential, accurate, and reliable.
- DOT SAP: Our DOT SAP program is designed to help individuals who have violated DOT regulations related to drug and alcohol use return to safety-sensitive duties. Our program includes evaluation, treatment, and follow-up services.
- TREM: Our Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (TREM) program is designed to help women who have experienced trauma related to addiction and mental health issues. Our program includes counseling, support groups, and education.
- Prevention: Our prevention program is designed to help individuals and communities prevent addiction and related mental health issues. Our program includes education, outreach, and support services.
- Alcohol Enforcement Teams (AET): Our Alcohol Enforcement Teams work with local law enforcement to reduce underage drinking and related issues. Our program includes education, outreach, and enforcement activities.
- Palmetto Retailers Education Program (PREP): Our PREP program is designed to help retailers prevent illegal drug activity and maintain a safe and secure environment. Our program includes education, training, and support services.
- South Carolina Tobacco Education Program (SCTEP): Our SCTEP program is designed to educate individuals and communities about the dangers of tobacco use and the benefits of a tobacco-free lifestyle. Our program includes education, outreach, and support services.
- Strengthening Families LifeSkills: Our Strengthening Families LifeSkills program is designed to help families develop the skills necessary to overcome addiction and related mental health issues. Our program includes counseling, support groups, and education.
- Laurens County Prevention Coalition: Our Laurens County Prevention Coalition is a community-based organization dedicated to preventing addiction and related mental health issues. Our coalition includes individuals, organizations, and community leaders working together to promote health, wellness, and recovery.
In addition to these services, we also offer a variety of resources and support services designed to help individuals and families overcome addiction and related mental health challenges.
