Our Story

The Animal Hospital of Clinton was founded in June 1994 by Dr. Richard Gill, who had always dreamed of returning to his hometown of Clinton, Mississippi to raise his family. After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Gill practiced at a mixed animal practice in Ripley, Tennessee for six years. His goal was to establish a small animal hospital that would provide comprehensive medical services, general surgery, dental care, and boarding capabilities to the community.

In 2005, we renovated our building to include additional boarding facilities, and in-house diagnostics, laser surgery, and laser therapy. Today, our team of three full-time veterinarians is proud to offer a range of services to cater to your pet's unique needs.
