Barbara E. McGuire, President, CPA, CGMA, Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor

Barbara is a partner in Chester M. Kearney's Houlton branch, where she specializes in non-profit audit engagements, audits of financial institutions, and employee benefit plans. She has experience in many other industries, including commercial, construction contractors, and credit unions. She is a graduate of the University of Maine with a BA degree in accounting and passed the CPA exam in 1999. Barbara is also a Peer Reviewer for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, a Technical Reviewer with New England Peer Review, and a QuickBooks ProAdvisor.

Timothy P. Poitras, CPA, CGMA

Tim is a partner of Chester M Kearney, attained his BS degree in business administration from the University of Maine and his BS degree in accounting from Husson College. He is experienced and knowledgeable in audits, reviews, compilations, tax preparation, and business consulting for various industries. Tim is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.

Michael J. Beardsley, CPA

Michael is a staff accountant at Chester M. Kearney, with experience in audits, reviews, compilations, tax preparation, and consulting. He specializes in the preparation of tax returns for U.S. citizens living abroad. Michael is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with both his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting as well as his Master of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Felicia Cowger, CPA

Felicia is a staff accountant at Chester M. Kearney with experience in audits, reviews, compilations, tax preparation, and consulting. She is a certified public accountant and a graduate of the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting.
