Meet Our Skilled Team

Dr. Sarah Smith, owner and founder of Ark Animal Hospital, grew up in the Chicago suburbs and studied her undergraduate work at Purdue University. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and then moved to Edwardsville. After graduation, Dr. Smith practiced in Alton for a number of years before starting Ark Animal Hospital in 2014. She enjoys the excitement of daily practice and likes to spend her free time with her family.

Dr. Amy Mueller joined Ark Animal Hospital in July of 2017. She has worked in the Metro East since 2009 and graduated from St. Matthew's School of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include dermatology and geriatric medicine. She enjoys her free time with family, friends and three cats.

Our team also includes skilled veterinary technicians, receptionists, and assistants, all dedicated to providing the best possible care for your pets.
