Kg Beach Camps

KG Beach Camps has been a cherished part of the Dana Point Harbor community since 1987, bringing smiles and sun-kissed memories to generations of children. We are proud to offer a unique and enriching summer camp experience for children aged 4 to 13, fostering their love for the ocean while nurturing their curiosity and creativity.

Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and make lasting friendships. We believe that summer should be a time for adventure, discovery, and building unforgettable memories.

Our Programs

At KG Beach Camps, we know that every child is unique, which is why we've designed three distinct camp programs to cater to different ages and interests:

• Mini Minnows (Ages 4-6): This program is designed to introduce the youngest campers to the joys of the beach while keeping them engaged and entertained. Our Mini Minnows explore the wonders of the shoreline through imaginative play, arts and crafts, musical activities, and age-appropriate games.

• Beach Safari (Ages 6-9): For our older beach explorers, the Beach Safari program offers a more adventurous experience. Campers will embark on exciting excursions, including trips to the tide pools to discover fascinating marine life, crab hunting adventures, and sandcastle building competitions. They can also enjoy water activities like swimming and kayaking, all under the watchful eye of our experienced counselors.

• H2O Adventure (Ages 9-13): This action-packed program is perfect for thrill-seeking young adventurers. Campers will challenge themselves with stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, and rowing. We also offer an unforgettable experience with a whale watching excursion on Dolphin Dave's Catamaran Safari.

Staff Committed to Fun and Safety

As the owner and mother of young children, I personally oversee the selection of our camp counselors. My priority is to ensure that our team is comprised of individuals who are truly passionate about working with children and dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment. All our counselors are First Aid and CPR certified and experts in the various water sports we offer, ensuring that your child is in capable and caring hands.

Our camps provide a unique blend of structured activities, free play, and opportunities for personal growth. We believe that summer camp should be a time for children to step outside their comfort zones, develop new skills, and make lifelong memories.
