Home Town Health Care is a home health agency committed to providing top-notch care for patients across 45 counties in Eastern Kansas. Our story began with a passion for healthcare and a desire to bring quality care to family and friends in the comfort of their own homes. Our journey started with a small office in Fredonia, Kansas, and has since grown to eight locations, serving a significant portion of the state.

Our History

Our founder, Debbie "Reed" Shinkle, is a lifelong resident of Fredonia, Kansas. Debbie's dream of opening a home health agency was driven by her own experiences as a caregiver for her family members. With over three decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Debbie has always put her patients first. Her patient-centric approach has been the cornerstone of Home Town Health Care's success.

Our Leadership Team

Our leadership team is comprised of dedicated professionals who share Debbie's passion for patient care. Jenessa Kleopfer, our Chief Administrative Officer, brings over a decade of experience in the healthcare industry. With a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, Jenessa has a deep understanding of healthcare operations and patient care. Jon Reed, our Chief Operations Officer, has a strong background in law enforcement and brings his analytical skills to the table. Together, our leadership team ensures that we continue to grow and expand services while maintaining our commitment to quality care.
