Our Story

Our journey began when our founder, David, had a poor experience with a locksmith. He was overcharged and felt taken advantage of. This led him to learn the trade himself, and he eventually moved to Mexico to learn from experienced locksmiths. He learned the importance of being resourceful and non-destructive in his approach, and he brings this philosophy to his work today.

We offer a wide range of services to meet your locksmith needs. For residential clients, we provide lockouts, rekeying, lock installation, lock repair, peephole installation, and mailbox locks. We also offer sliding glass door security improvements to help you feel safer in your home. For commercial clients, we offer lockouts, rekeying, lock installation, lock repair, peephole installation, key duplication, master keying, and office furniture lockouts, maintenance, and installation. For automotive clients, we offer car and truck lockouts, basic key duplication, car door lock repair, and roadside assist.

Our Philosophy

At David the Locksmith LLC, we believe in being ecologically friendly in our work. We reuse quality parts whenever possible and regularly bring old hardware to the metal recycling center. We're also hesitant to destroy a perfectly good lock just because we don't have the key. And, whenever possible, we'll even show up on a bicycle to spare the atmosphere some carbon emissions.
