Julian Oaks Youth Ministries

Julian Oaks is a Christian camp that ministers to children who have been removed from their homes for reasons of abuse or neglect. We believe that every child deserves to experience the unconditional love of Jesus Christ and find hope for a future beyond the abuse. Our camp offers a variety of activities including hiking, music and drama opportunities, crafts, swimming, games, worship, and Bible studies. We strive to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can heal and grow.

Our summer camp program is designed for children between the ages of 9-18, and we maintain a ratio of 2 children per counselor. We also offer weekend retreats in the winter months with a 1:1 counselor-to-camper ratio. Many of our campers return year after year, and some even go on to serve as Junior Counselors.

At Julian Oaks, we believe that developing relationships is key to the long-term success of our program. Our counselors and staff are dedicated to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with the children and providing them with a sense of hope and belonging. Becoming a Counselor

If you are looking to be more involved with Julian Oaks, becoming a camp counselor is an incredible opportunity. We are seeking mature Christians who have been committed to Christ for at least 2 years and are at least 19 years of age. A 5-day commitment in the summer and a weekend commitment in the winter are required. You can find more information and application forms on our website.
