Our Story

Our store owner, Marcie Patten, is an eyewear veteran with over 25 years of experience. She began her career in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she became one of the youngest licensed opticians in the state at just 21 years old. Joining LensCrafters during their rapid expansion, Marcie relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where she held various management positions. Her exceptional operational excellence and legendary customer service earned her numerous awards and the esteemed President's Club. In 2015, Marcie achieved her lifelong dream by opening the doors to Optical Works Eyewear, where she continues to share her passion for optical excellence.
