John McLaughlin founded Screen Gems Furniture Accessories with the goal of changing the home decor landscape. In 2002, during a trade show in High Point, North Carolina, he met Cathy, his future wife, who shared his design synergies and enduring work ethic. Together, they propelled the company to where it stands today.
