Salon 241 is located in the historic Comfort C. Farrington House at 241 State Street in Bangor, ME, built-in 1848. This magnificent Italianate architecture building was once home to Lieutenant Colonel Joseph Sewall Smith, a Civil War Congressional Medal of Honor recipient. Our salon's atmosphere is reminiscent of a time when Victorian women looked forward to their salon visit to chat and share secrets. We have created a warm, friendly, and relaxing environment that will make you feel at ease the moment you step into our salon.

Our Waxing Services

Salon 241 believes that hair removal shouldn't be painful. That's why, along with traditional waxing, we offer Nufree Nudesse soy hair removal at our salon. This is a non-wax, botanical hair removal treatment that many of our clients prefer over regular waxing. We can remove hair from your eyebrows, chin, upper lip, underarms, legs, or all of the above if you so desire.
