Meet the Doctor

Dr. Neely Thornton is a Georgia native born and raised in Rome, GA. She attended Darlington School and continued on to Vanderbilt University where she graduated Cum Laude from the School of Engineering. After college, Dr. Thornton ventured out to Jackson Hole, Wyoming to enjoy an outdoor adventure for a year, while working as a dental assistant and reinforcing her desire to pursue dentistry. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 2006, graduating top 10% of her class.

Neely has always been passionate about learning and applying new principles to her life. She chose dentistry as her career path to help others be more proactive about prevention and wellness in their own lives and to have a hands-on artistic influence on peoples' smiles and functional harmony. Dentistry is a great way to reach individuals on a level of discovery. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, The Georgia Dental Association, The Hinman Dental Society, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, The American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and frequents her local Spear Study Club. Dr. Thornton has also been accepted as an IAFA master!
