Our practice was founded on the principles of user-oriented co-design and analytical process. We believe that every good design should integrate form and function, and we go beyond that by incorporating construction know-how and sustainability. Our approach ensures that the needs of our clients are seamlessly integrated with the needs of everyone impacted by the space, from CEO to maintenance.

With over 20 years of experience, our organization has evolved significantly. We started as Isaac Benton & Associates in 1999 and changed our name to Integrated Design & Architecture in 2006 to reflect our expanded mission. Throughout our history, we have proudly served the Affordable Housing sector, with a significant portion of our work focused on this area. We have developed a reputation for managing projects through the complex field of construction, ensuring that our clients' expectations are met.

Our firm's size allows us to provide greater personal attention to each client, ensuring that every project receives the quality it deserves. We believe that the full attention of our Principals in all design and decision-making is crucial for delivering exceptional results. We understand that design involves many people with varied interests, so we recommend forming client and user Advisory Teams to ensure everyone's interests are met. This co-design process is the foundation of our work.
